Meet The Team

Peter Hull

Peter Hull: Director

As the 3rd generation of the Hull family involved in the business, Peter brings over 50 years of experience in farming, husbandry and recycling food waste for animal feed.

Peter has witnessed huge changes in what can be recycled for animal feed and thus provides insight and knowledge to support Ashley and Robert.

PH Hull has always focused on food manufacturing businesses and Peters experience is well placed to optimise reusing food waste for animal feed.

Whilst he now takes a back seat in the day to day running of the business, his knowledge continues to be invaluable.

Robert Hull

Robert Hull: Director

Robert is the 4th generation of the Hull family involved in the business. Joining the company at 18, Robert has worked his way "up the ranks" to taking day to day operational control of the business with his brother. He has used his extensive operational experience and indepth recycling knowledge to drive the business forward to ensure customers recycling rates are maximised and waste services are provided cost efficiently.

Robert is responsible for internal IT systems, legal compliance and was instrumental in delivering the online customer portal. Having a young family, he is interested in environmental issues, which every day he transfers to customers attitude to recycling, he was also integral to the adoption of solar technology at the company's recycling facility.

Ashley Hull

Ashley Hull: Director

Ashley is the 4th generation of the Hull family involved in the business. Having undertaken many roles within the company since the age of 19, Ashley has gained a valuable insight into the daily tasks and the way in which the company operates. Bringing detailed knowledge of the waste industry and equipment options, he is able to support customers through delivering flexible and versatile recycling services to meet every customers unique need. Having day to day control of the bespoke storage service, Ashley provides customers with a fast response for collection, storage and delivery of equipment and packaging.

Ashley holds the certificate of professional competency (CPC) for the company and he uses this knowledge to maximise the purchasing and transport operations for the business.

Both Ashley and Robert dedicate their spare time to triathlon challenges for charity.

Katie Stewart

Katie Stewart: Finance Director / General Manager

Katie joined PH Hull in 2018 and brings with her 25 years of finance experience. She brings a wealth of experience in management and accounts which helps the proficient day to day running of the office.

Katie has extensive experience in customer focused roles and she brings this knowledge to PH Hull to ensure the customers are provided with a quality and efficient service.

As a fast growing company, Katie uses her detailed accounts knowledge to ensure the database system continues to develop to meet customers needs and delivering a proficient service to enable customers to access their information in real time.

Jacqui Bacon

Jacqui Bacon: P.A. to the Directors

Jacqui joined the business in 2007 and she provides a supporting role for the office team and Directors. She has a wealth of experience in customer support roles and thus is often the first point of contact for all PH Hull customers.

Jacqui will always endeavour to uphold the customer focused approach of PH Hull who pride themselves on providing a proficient and professional service.

Karen Wilson

Karen Wilson: Sales Ledger

Karen joined the business in 2015 as a key member of the accounts team. She has previously managed large government and blue-chip company projects and management systems involved personally in cradle to grave processes.

Within PH Hull she manages the daily records of customers activities through to reporting and supports other colleagues in meeting customers expectations.

Jackie Taggart

Jackie Taggart: Purchase Ledger

Jackie joined the business in 2017 to manage the purchase ledger. Her career has spanned various aspects of accounts including purchase ledger, payroll and sales ledger.

The extensive knowledge she brings to the business delivers timely payments to suppliers and a focus on accuracy.

Claire Pilling

Claire Pilling: Office Admin

Claire joined the business in 2013 as a key member of the administration team bringing with her years of accounts experience.

Her career in accounts and finance has brought to PH Hull an eye for accuracy and detail which ensures the smooth flow of documentation throughout the office and to customers.
