Business Green Leaders Awards
PH Hull is proud to assist their long term partner Samworth Group in achieving highly commended in the "Business Green Leaders Awards."
Samworth Brothers has been Highly Commended in the Waste and Recycling Project of the Year category at the Business Green Leaders Awards 2015. The award recognised the work undertaken at the Group's Leicester and Melton Mowbray production facilities to achieve zero waste to landfill and recover over 60% of waste for positive reuse. The remaining 30% is utilised to generate energy.
Deborah Carlin, Group Sustainability Advisor, said "The award is in recognition for our zero waste to landfill work across the Group in partnership with PH Hull & Sons. It is a great honour for both of us to achieve this accolade and thanks to everyone's hard work and focus on this over the years."
