Gearys Bakeries awards PH Hull contract for new £13m site
Geary's Bakeries Ltd are due to open a new £13m production bakery at Optimus Park, Glenfield, Leicester in summer 2017. The new bakery will enable the company to double production in the state of the art facility.
PH Hull are proud to have been awarded the contract to provide the recycling and waste services to the new site. The partnership between Geary's Bakeries and PH Hull has provided fantastic results for both companies over the last year at their Barrow on Soar site including Geary's Bakeries being awarded the top score of 5 stars in the Investors in Zero Waste Awards 2016 and platinum award in the Awards for Excellence for Waste 2017.
PH Hull will continue to work hard with Geary's Bakeries to ensure the new site is maximising their recycling rate from the onset and managing all of the waste as far up the waste hierarchy as possible.
