HGVs Equipped With Tyre Pressure Monitoring
Continuing with our commitment to become an eco-friendly recycling company and reduce our impact on the environment, we have equipped our fleet of 8 Commercial HGV’s with live tyre pressure monitoring systems from Tyrepal.
The TyrePal system continuously monitors the pressure and temperature of our vehicles tyres – and warns when things are going wrong:
- Low pressure causing excessive tyre wear and fuel consumption
- High pressure affecting road holding, braking distance and tyre wear
- Overheating – a potential blowout
Apart from acting as a safety device for our drivers by giving us warning before a blowout, tyre pressure monitoring can save the company money by reducing tyre wear and fuel consumption. It can also help to reduce P H Hull & Sons CO2 emissions.
