Five Samworth Brothers bakeries won prestiges awards at the Investors in Zero Waste awards in London on Thursday 8th December 2016. A food business that prides itself on quality food, has now raised the bar at the Zero Waste Awards.
The Investors in Zero Waste scheme recognises and rewards the innovation and commitment of businesses striving to eliminate waste.
Since implementing the 4R Plan which is an environmental communication and awareness vehicle to sustainable manufacturing, Samworth Brothers sites have raised the bar across a series of environmental initiatives. Waste was one of the first initiatives to be focused on and the rewards are paying off environmentally, financially and in recognitions.
