Samworth Brothers acquired Manton Wood sandwich business in November 2018. Following the acquisition the Manton Wood site was bought into the group recycling partnership and PH Hull are proud to be able to support Samworth Brothers with delivering a state of the art recycling and waste solution for the bakery.
The key aim was to roll out Samworth Brothers 4R Plan to the newly acquired site and to transfer the knowledge and learnings from the 25 year partnership to benefit the new site.
State of the art bespoke equipment has been installed into the Manton Wood site. Telemetry has been installed to all equipment to provide the bakery vital statistics to achieve consistent payloads and remote diagnostics.
Samworth Brothers 4R Plan is committed to achieving high recycling targets and focused environmental KPIs. The equipment installed and strong partnership with PH Hull will ensure the site is supported in getting the bakery to the high level that all other Samworth Brothers site achieve.
