It gives us great pleasure to welcome Wrights Food Group as a new customer of P.H.Hull & Sons Ltd. Wrights Food Group form part of The Compleat Food Group. The Compleat Food Group is the UK’s leading producer of pastry, ready meals, olives and antipasti, continental meats and plant-based food and home to award-winning brands Pork Farms, Wall’s Pastry, Squeaky Bean, unearthed, Vadasz and Wrights.
Wright’s Food Group is a family run business supplying savoury products, cakes and ready meals to many of the UK’s top restaurant chains, food service distributors and independent bakeries.
We have already been able to identify progression in waste hierarchy outcomes, and potentially cut the site’s GHG emissions, by diverting 40% of food waste from anaerobic digestion, redirecting it towards animal feed production. Bulk sheet trailers have been installed to support this transition.
On site recycling of jazz plastic will further increase recycling volumes, reducing general waste levels whilst improving financial gains.
The site has access to a bespoke customer reporting facility that tracks recycling volumes, outcomes and financials. It also stores all compliance documents and equipment service details in one easily accessible place.
We are excited to begin working with Wrights Food Group, helping them to make further improvements in their recycling and waste outcomes. Through collaborative working and keeping up with the latest recycling innovations, we know this will be a great partnership.
