Recycling Solutions for Food Production Sites

At P.H. Hull & Sons, we offer a number of solutions for the collection, disposal and recycling of by-products, associated with the vast majority of food production and handling processes.

Secure Destruction

The secure destruction of food by-products is a great way to reduce the resources your company applies to refuse and landfill services. With a secure destruction certificate provided for each consignment, we protect your company branding by repackaging your products before recycling their original packaging, reusing food for animal feed where possible.

We recycle a wide range of food waste & by-products, using them for:
  • Anaerobic Digestion
  • Energy recovery
  • Compost
  • Pet food
  • Animal food
  • Fishing bait
  • Biofuel

Exchange Services

Exchange services are ideal for the collection of dense by-products, commonly produced by the food manufacturing industry. Our operatives will deliver a storage unit, suitable for a wide range of substances such as fruit, vegetables, confectionery, bread, cake, flour and other commodities. When full, the storage unit will be exchanged for an empty sanitised unit. Each unit within our waste exchange service is capable of storing both mixed and segregated by-products.

Compactors

Our compactors are designed to reduce costs of waste disposal and your company’s reliance on landfill. Carbon footprint approved, our compactors are an enclosed, free standing unit which can be installed on site, reducing waste volumes and vehicle movements whilst enhancing the working environment.

We are able to supply you with horizontal Balers and use Kadant Paal, designed to ensure you achieve maximum performance and reliability for your daily baling requirements.
